The world famous facebook founded on Feb 1 st 2004 is now going "lite". New light weight service from facebook for the social networking community. its reported that facebook is testing facebook lite version for faster connectivity for its users around the globe. the facebook also have a mobile version. which is being used by many mobile users.
Lite will feature the twitter like structure and have facilities like writing on wall making comments and accepting friends request and photo sharing etc...
The idea behind new lite would be for speedup the social networking media the facebook home page is feature rich and its loading time is more and with the invention of facebook lite the load time will be dramatically decrease.
Of-cause this design will attract yet another million users to facebook.
The general design

- three top buttons for messages photos and videos sharing
- well known facebook theme
- and most of all fast loading
Facebook and twitter status updates
Even the facebook serves from US and because of slow broadband connections they comeup with this new lite version of facebook. and it will be tested in slow internet speed countries and its going to be a defender for twitter. the same micro blogging techniques are followed by facebook lite.
Not only facebook is offering lite version, My space is also announced a lite version for slow speed internet connections and to do networking , social netwoking even more faster.

My space is already have the lite feature with it from april 2009 and now wait for facebook to start its lite version and that will definitely bring facebook to load faster than ever... just try this existing feature in my space now
Facebook is just trying to take over the social networking Market, but Twitter will be a hard job. I have written a bit more about who else Facebook has taken over in my blog. Have a look.

No kidding, myspace is going to do it too. I think that would help the a lot.
Do you have any idea when they plan to do this. I know I get irritated with waiting for facebook and myspace to load.
