Feeling pooped and party hasn't even started yest? Nothing unusual. Many of us wear ourselves to the bone just making preparations, say for a birthday party or a wedding, and feel thoroughly exhausted even before the main event. However, there is a way to get into the groove and enjoy yourself and a lot of it is in the MIND!
One of the golden rules to remember here is that it is the thoughts we feed our body that will determine how it behaves. Fed thoughts full of anxiety, your body behaves anxiously. Most of the exhaustion you feel originates in the mind not the muscles.
So pause for a minutes and take a few deep breaths to feel centred. and relaxed.
Do consider to follow these things...
1. Observe yourself
Do you find yourself feeling i do so much for others? Are you trying to impress or please people with this party? This can be very energy draining exercise. and what rely is parties are meant for relaxation, spreading joy and love around you.
2. Know yourself
Do only as much as your body and temperament allows. Don't fret over perfection. your guests are coming to experience your warmth, smile and hospitality and not just to see and spread on the table or the decorations. No ones grading you.
3. Take care of your diet
Take care of your diet and appearance by pampering yourself to look fresh before the party. Have fresh juice, honey, green vegetables. they will ensure that your vitality is not compromised
4. Organize yourself
Stick to the tried and tested. Don't let your thoughts scatter. Fatigue is a sign of your physical and mental disorganization.
5. Surrender
Do your best and forget the rest. Not to be confused with complacency, surrender means doing things as well as you can and not hankering for results. Think this way and it will take a load of your shoulders in an extent.

What you said about pausing and taking deep breaths is so key. It's simple advice but so easy to forget. Thanks for the reminder.
