Midori the implementation of the microsoft project code named Singularity operating system, the research operating system is going to commercial. Midori’s proposed design, which is Internet-centric and predicated on the prevalence of connected systems.
Singularity is a new operating system being developed as a basis for more dependable system and application software. Singularity exploits advances in programming languages and tools to create an environment in which software is more likely to be built correctly, program behavior is easier to verify, and run-time failures can be contained. A key aspect of Singularity is an extension model based on Software-Isolated Processes (SIPs), which encapsulate pieces of an application or a system and provide information hiding, failure isolation, and strong interfaces
Microsoft is incubating a component oriented non-Windows operating system known as Midori, which is being architected from the ground up to tackle challenges that Redmond has determined cannot be met by simply evolving its existing technology.

Dear Sandra, this OS is basically developed or in development process in connection with a research named Singularity and the final name is not sure and Midori is the name the microsoft kept now. Its under development and am not sure when they where going to release it, although the Windows 7 commercial version also release this week or they said its in August 1 st week...

Wow, that is really interesting. I think you are going to do well. I don't like to go to a lot of different sites, can you tell us more about this.
Like when they are planning to make this happen and stuff like that. Are Windows users going to have to buy new software or will it be like an update?
