Recover deleted sms from mobile

Welcome to SMS recovery tutorial. In this tutorial I will explain, what are the steps to be followed in order to recover deleted SMS from a SIM card. First of all let show you the required software and equipment for this purpose.

• Card Reader PC/SC compliant this is used to read the content of the card and this device can be used to load data to your SIM card as well.

• Software for managing the SIM card data, SIM manager from dekart.com you can download it from the website.

• Run the program
• You have to make sure that your card is plugged in
• If connected a small SIM card icon will show in the software like here in the screen shoot

• Make sure your card plugged in and press the read button; let the SIM manager to read the data.

We believes that when ever one SMS get deleted its gone for ever , but its not like that we can recover it because the SMS is marked as deleted it will reside in the card as long as there is free space for new SMS. If new SMS is received and there is no space then the message which is marked as deleted will be over written with the new message.

Otherwise if there is still space in the card then the free space will be used to store the new message.

SIM manager software can show you various parts of your SIM card that you can easily manage, You can view

• GSM Contacts

• OWN Numbers

• Last Dialed Numbers

• Fixed Dialing Numbers

• SMS Messages

Click on SMS Messages and you can see some messages in black and some in red color which means red one are marked as deleted and black one is stored message in SIM card. Red one are marked as deleted but still on card which you cannot seen by using your mobile phone.

There is two possibilities for marked as deleted messages,

• You can recover it in order to see the deleted messages.

• You can permanently delete it from the SIM card so that any one else will not see it or recover it again

How to do this

Right click on the SMS which is marked as deleted i.e. in RED color and press Undelete.

Now the message color becomes black which means this SMS is now recovered and visible.

Now you can commit the changes to SIM card by pressing the WRITE button, and its finished and the data is written to SIM card, this way you can recover or permanently delete your data in SIM cards.
